We are currently seeking an experienced RN Clinical Manager/Administrator to plan, develop, and direct the ongoing functions, programs, public information, services and promotional activities provided by their branch location. The RN Clinical Manager/Administrator will implement organizational structure, direct and coordinate overall development and administration, and provide leadership in the development of strategic long-term plans at their branch. They will also ensure branch compliance with the federal/state regulations that govern home healthcare services.

Office hours/work hours for this role are Monday - Friday 9:00AM - 5:00PM.

Responsibilities

  • Identify legislative, community, and third-party payer issues that may impact branch development plans.
  • Provide leadership in developing and maintaining data collection, recording, and reporting systems to ensure proper service, uniform accounting, data collection, and measurement of outcomes.
  • Participate in establishing and maintaining public relations and marketing programs that increase the public's understanding of home care, while fostering relationships with other members of the health care community.
  • Report progress and make recommendations for the future growth of all home healthcare services and products.
  • Ensure development of relationships and contractual agreements with third-party payers, vendors, and the business community.
  • Ensure compliance with all contracts, agreements and company policies and procedures.
  • Participate in the hiring, orientation, training and development of management staff.
  • Direct daily business activities at the branch and ensure development of systems that support recruitment, hiring and the ongoing professional development of branch staff.
  • Develop an annual operating budget with input from all divisions and departments and submit the budget for approval.
  • Implement an effective budgeting and accounting system.
  • Prepare financial reports and manage financial resources, according to the budget and revenue projections.
  • Serve on the Professional Advisory Board and Quality Improvement Committee.
  • Maintain ongoing liaison between the Governing Body, the Professional Advisory Board, and branch staff.

Qualifications
  • Associate degree or Bachelor's degree required
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing, health service administration, business administration OR equivalent experience in a related field preferred
  • At least 3 years of experience in positions in the business or health care field
  • At least 1 year of experience in a supervisory and/or administrative position
  • Professional interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of regulatory home healthcare requirements at the state, federal, and local level
  • Knowledge of business management
