Hiring rate of position: $24.200/per hour (Plus $3.00/per hour for every hour worked at the facility)

Location of position: YRTC-H 4200 West Second St. Hastings, NE 68901

Work schedule: 2:00p.m. to 10:00p.m. (2 positions) days off Wednesday-Thursday or Tuesday-Wednesday
Examples of Work
1) Using Handle with Care principles, leads and assists in emergency/crisis situations and notifies appropriate personnel and outside agencies; ensures/maintains a safe, secure and therapeutic environment with staff intervening appropriately. Serves as incident commander on night shift for severe weather, fire and disaster emergencies. 2) Oversees completion of incident reports, nightly chart audits, and staff assignments. 3) Facilitates job related training, as directed by the Supervisor. 4) Specifies assignments for employees on all three shifts, ensure acuity and staff ratios, authorizes leave and assists scheduler with coverage to maintain a safe and therapeutic environment. Oversees and approves the development of staff schedules and authorizes vacation and sick time. Supervises and authorizes semi-annual vacation postings. 5) Facilitates staff interpretation and enforcement of policies and rules 6) Interviews and participates in the hiring and unit orientation training of personnel and completes scheduled performance evaluations.
Qualifications / Requirements
REQUIREMENTS: Coursework/training or experience in: social work, criminal justice, counseling and guidance, human development and the family, psychology, behavioral health care, education, social/behavioral sciences, nursing/patient care, delinquency prevention or related area. Experience leading, coordinating, directing, monitoring and/or supervising others. Valid drivers license or ability to provide independent transportation.

PREFERRED: Bachelor's degree or five or more years of experience working in chemical dependency or adolescent treatment services. Previous experience in supervising and leading individuals.
