Ardurra is seeking a Water/Wastewater Project Manager to join our staff in St. Augustine, FL.

Primary Function

The ideal candidate will be  P.E. with 7-10 years of relevant municipal engineering experience including experience designing pump stations, pipelines, water/wastewater treatment facilities, and experience performing hydraulic modeling (using programs such as WaterGEMS, SewerGEMS, InfoWater, etc.). 

Primary Duties

• Candidate will be responsible for managing project tasks, project design and permitting, construction coordination, and coordinating work with other team members
• Managing the budget and schedule for multiple engineering projects
• The Project Manager will serve as the Engineer of Record and technical lead for his/her own projects, in most cases
• Communicating with clients, subconsultants, contractors, and other professionals as required for the completion of the project

Education and Experience Requirements

• BS degree in Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Environmental Engineering
• A current Professional Engineering License
• 7-10 years of relevant municipal engineering design experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Outstanding organizational skills
• Strong sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet client deadlines
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables simultaneously

Desired Qualifications:

• Familiar with ESRI GIS, AutoCAD, and MS software packages
• Entrepreneurial spirit
• Potential/desire to lead a practice and manage clients and a team
