Vice President of Acquisitions & Development Outstanding Opportunity for a VP of Acquisitions & Development to oversee the day-to-day oversight of the retail development activity in the primary market areas of Colorado.
What You Will Be Doing Pursue retailer requirements in new markets and various development leads
Canvas strategic properties in target trade areas which are ground up development/acquisition of existing centers for repositioning
Operate in the primary market areas of Colorado and surrounding markets that we may consider
Conduct thorough feasibility analysis, gain a firm understanding of significant issues affecting a property's potential future performance
Develop financial proformas, conduct on-going financial assessments of all income and expense expectations for the properties
Manage/oversee in-house and 3rd party brokers to solicit and generate key tenant interest for new opportunities
Perform necessary acquisition and pre-development due diligence to confirm initial assumptions before closing escrow or commencing work
Document/negotiate Purchase Contracts, City Entitlements, Term Sheets with lenders and other similar development agreements
Coordinate & oversee consultants, contractors, engineers and vendors with our selected construction team
Build long term relationships with owners, cities and brokers
What You Need for this Position Bachelors Degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics or related major
Colorado Real Estate Salesperson License
3-5 years relevant shopping center development and acquisitions experience in Colorado market areas
Strong familiarity with the target markets of Colorado
Outstanding tenant and broker relations
Strong Microsoft Office computer skills & very comfortable with technology
Strong relationship management skills
Excellent time management skills
Meticulous attention to detail
Highly effective communication, presentation and analytical skills
Highly organized with strong work ethics
Willing to think outside of the box to create extraordinary outcomes
