ECS is seeking a Vice President - Advanced Engineering to work in our DC Metro office.

Job Description:
ECS is seeking an experienced leader for our Advanced Engineering Services Division. As the Advanced Engineering Services Division Leader - You will be directly responsible for the overall strategic direction, operational management and financial growth of the Advanced Engineering Services Division. This position is responsible for directing the operations of the division and ensuring structured processes and procedures are implemented and executed to enable optimal service delivery and achievement of divisional goals and objectives.

As a Division leader at ECS - you will the charged with instilling a high-performance culture within the team with a focus on teamwork, service excellence and ownership for responding to and resolving customer requirements; achieving consistent customer satisfaction ratings and responding appropriately to customer feedback on areas for improvement; and ensuring teams are skilled, trained and developed to enable them to deliver high quality service and support.

The ideal leader must have a proven track record of developing, building, transforming, and growing business; while continuing ECS's long history of being a Trusted Partner to our customers by serving their mission.

Required Skills:

  • Must have a Top-Secret Clearance; SCI and SAP Eligible
  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in Division management
  • 8+ years in a management position with P&L responsibility of at least $50M
  • Demonstrated ability to identify, articulate and prioritize implementation of strategic objectives and goals for a Division
  • Outstanding business, technology, and engineering acumen
  • Excellent management skills, with the ability to delegate and manage multiple priorities while fostering positive relationships
  • Demonstrated fiscal responsibility/accountability in managing overall Division Operating Plans
  • Outstanding oral and written communications skills that demonstrate a professional demeanor and the ability to interact with others with discretion and tact
  • Dedication to Employee enrichment, improvement, and career growth
  • Demonstrated ability to operate at the highest level of integrity, professionalism, and forthrightness
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet changing scope and resource situations
  • Strong analysis, change control, task management, time management and risk identification skills
