VCA Northview Animal Hospital is seeking an enthusiastic veterinary technician to join our General Medicine care team full time!

We are a large multi doctor practice, with a small family feel. We have built a culture of support, and kindness and truly work together as a team. Our hospital supports Surgery, Internal Medicine, the full circle support of General Practice and Wellness care, as well as Rehabilitation patients.

General Medicine Veterinary Technician Duties:

  • Technician skill utilization
  • Ensure patients are provided gold standard medical care
  • Anesthesia monitoring and recovery
  • Hands Free Radiology (Associate safety is a top priority) and Digital Radiographs
  • Working collaboratively with team members of all hospital services
  • Understanding of wellness, preventative care, and common pharmaceuticals
  • Providing compassionate care for all patients embracing Fear Free adaptations
  • Strong client educator
  • Familiar with EMR

Potential Schedule: Full-time Mon-Saturday. Shift times may vary but typically will be working four 10 hour shifts. No Sundays.

Compensation: $ 18 - 25 / hour based on experience, skill set, and licensure status
