RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Vendor Relationship Risk Specialist in Pittsburgh, PA.Responsibilities:
  • Identifies and manages risks associated with a product or service with the goal of improving vendor performance and compliance with applicable regulations
  • Interfaces with vendors and organizational staff to interpret needs and provide accurate specifications
  • Leads the review of new and existing contract assignments for compliance with applicable regulations
  • Consults with vendors to remediate risks identified in assessment process. Recommends, initiates and/or drives improvement opportunities
  • Prepares reports and required documents for management review
  • Assesses and effectively manages all of the risks associated with their business objectives and activities to ensure activities are in alignment with the bank's and unit's risk appetite and risk management framework


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Knowledge of the organization's industry group, trends, directions, major issues, regulatory considerations, and trendsetters; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations
  • Process Management - Working experience
  • Knowledge of business process improvement tools and techniques and ability to understand, monitor, update, or enhance existing business or work processes
  • Problem Solving - Basic experience
  • Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations
  • Effective Communications - Working experience
  • Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors
  • Negotiating - Basic experience
  • Knowledge of successful negotiation concepts and techniques; ability to negotiate successfully across the organization and with external vendors and clients in a constructive and collaborative manner
  • Accuracy and Attention to Detail - Working experience
  • Understanding of the necessity and value of accuracy and attention to detail; ability to process information with high levels of accuracy
  • Internal Controls - Working experience
  • Knowledge of and ability to create, implement, evaluate and enhance processes in internal controls
  • Regulatory Environment - Financial Services - Working experience
