    Lead product development activities for a range of V2X-related software and energy solutions associated with bidirectional charging, V2H, V2L, V2G and other advanced V2X functions; the V2X Products Lead and their team members will work closely with the vehicle and EVSE design teams to ensure hardware and onboard systems roadmap alignment, but be directly responsible for developing commercial-grade V2X-solutions and the cloud functions that support them.
    • Directly perform product management functions in early days as the team is growing, while also responsible for building out the team and setting short- and long-term goals with V2X and EVGRO executive teams.
    • Understand, guide, and inspire a vision for a cloud-first data ecosystem that will be the backbone of the V2X solutions.
    • Responsible for high bandwidth, high EQ interlocution between engineering and marketing/sales.
    • Generate great energy product ideas; enable others to do even better
    • Manage internal and external market analysis efforts.
    • Support the development of system, component, and sub-component specifications for the various V2X solutions including functional, performance, safety, and compliance requirements.
    • Collaborate in a team environment and/or take charge of opportunities to develop optimal solutions for customers and development programs.

    Additional Job Description

    • 10+ years applicable experience.
    • Success leading product ownership projects in the renewable energy, EV, or V2X markets.
    • A strong background in developing and deploying software solutions enabling interactions between EVs, the electrical grid, renewable energy systems, and/or DERs.
    • Deep knowledge of energy systems certifications and compliance standards.
    • Familiarity with energy policy and regional US energy dynamics.
    • Demonstrated high level of interpersonal skills required to effectively lead, motivate, and facilitate others in group situations.
    • Demonstrated high level of strategic agility and desire to work in a complex and evolving environment and an innovation mindset.

    This can be a remote position, the selected candidate can reside and perform the work from anywhere within the United States. If local (100 miles) to Metro Detroit, it can also be a Hybrid position.

    Compensation: The median level of salary compensation for this role is $134,326. An incentive pay program offers payouts based on company performance, job level, and individual performance.
