Our client, a higher-ed learning solutions company, is looking to add a UX Designer to their time. This is a 3+ month long contract with the potential to extend. This role is 100% remote, but must live on the East Coast.

Looking for someone with 5+ years of corporate UX experience.

Responsibilities/Qualifications:

• Will be working with 1-2 scrum teams' weekly meetings
• Will be working on new feature sets as well as existing/old features
• Must have high level experience and use of Figma
• Must understand working within a design system/ component library

Goals of the Project

• Organize and lead workshops when needed to promote and implement design thinking including whiteboarding, Affinity Mapping, Role-Play, and mind-mapping.
• Deliver all UX work within Figma while following the design workflow process within the Design Request Jira project space.
• Take ownership of dedicated tasks under the UX Director while utilizing UX methodologies, design patterns, and components, and adherence to A11y/WCAG guidelines
• Collaboration with other team members to ensure UX team efficiency and effectiveness in delivering on the project and team goals.
• Own the validation, usability, design quality and execution of final designs, from user research through final visual designs to development.
• Ensure appropriate UX methodologies and design best practices persist on projects - so that design decisions result in optimal end-user experiences and outcomes.
