Our User Experience team is seeking talented and passionateUXDesign Business Analysts. As aUXDesign Business Analyst, you will collaborate withUXdesigners, software engineers, system engineers, and business stakeholders tocapture and clarify requirements. The ideal candidate will haveanatural, analytical way of thinking and be able to explain difficult concepts to non-technical users. The candidate should also possesssome sort ofengineering / IT background and is able to demonstrate a strong aptitude for understanding technology andhow itenablesthe end-userexperience.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a liaison between the technical function and user experience of a given feature.
  • Provide support with design requirementdocumentationto ensure alignment with engineering scope.
  • Gather functional requirementsinpartnership with UX team at discoveryand othercollaborative sessions.
  • Facilitate conversations around and writeuser experience requirementsthat provide product designer appropriate direction before starting new designs.
  • Create and maintain documentation of critical informationrelevant to the UX designwith theinclusion of technical details as needed.
  • Partner with UX designer toconduct qualityreviews of software releases to ensure that the product meets the specification given.
  • Serve as advocate for user needs by clearly communicating solution requirements with development teams.
  • Identify and surface competing prioritiesor scope understandingacrosspartnering departmentsthat could cause disconnectand a broken user experience.
  • Participate in a collaborative environment withUX design, system engineering, and softwareexperts.

Additional Job Description

Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experienceas a business analyst working with end-user technology
  • BA/BS degree or training inSoftware Engineering, User-Centered Design, User Experience Design,Product Management,IT Operationsor related
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Working knowledgeofAxure

Preferred Qualifications
  • Automotive experience or knowledge
  • Software development experience
  • Experience working with a UX design team

Compensation:
  • The median level of salary compensation for this role in Colorado is $94,863. Applicable salary ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
  • Bonus Potential: An incentive pay program offers payouts based on company performance, job level, and individual performance.
