BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Usability Researcher remote opportunity.

Position Title: Usability Researcher

Location: Remote
Anticipated Start Date: ASAP

Expected Duration: 3 Months

Job Type: Full time Contract
Pay Range: $55 to $60

Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).

Job Description:

Title: UX Researcher
Location: Remote
Duration: 3 Months

Note: Candidates should have a portfolio, or samples of their previous work/case studies prepared.

Candidate Requirements

• Years of Experience Required: 5+ overall years of experience in the field.
• Degrees or certifications required: A degree is not required to be eligible for this role, but a BA/BS (MS preferred) in Experimental Psychology, Cognitive Psychology, Human Factors, Human-Computer Interaction or a related field if preferred.
• Disqualifiers: Candidates with exclusively academic experience/no prior experience in a large enterprise corporation will not be eligible for the role.
• Best vs. Average: The ideal resume would contain significant experience in a large enterprise company and working in cross functional teams such as working closely with engineers. The ideal candidate is a great storyteller, able to translate data into insights and communicate those effectively to other members of the team. Experience supporting the entire product cycle is a big plus.
• Performance Indicators: Performance will be assessed based on meeting deadlines, quality of work, and feedback from cross discipline partners.

Top 3 Hard Skills Required + Years of Experience

Minimum 5 years' experience with usability testing & user interviews.

Minimum 5 years' experience with data analysis in both Qualitative and Quantitative studies.

Minimum 5 years' experience with presenting data insights and writing research reports.
