Darling Ingredients is looking for a Truck Washer / Production Associate to join our team at our plant in Linville, VA which is located near Harrisonburg, VA. This role will be responsible for keeping trucks and trailers clean in an effort to meet customer/supplier requirements.

This position will be a 2 nd shift position scheduled to work from, 3:30pm-12:00am.

Job Summary:

Primary responsibility will be to keep trucks and trailers clean in an effort to meet customer/supplier requirements.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

• Wash truck and trailer equipment as assigned to ensure customer/supplier cleanliness standards are met.
• Report all issues with equipment to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain logs and records as required.
• Expected to perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Ability to read and write at a level that allows understanding of all safety training.
• Ability to deal with uncertainty, use good judgment, be objective, be dependable, and be professional when dealing with issues as they present themselves.

Physical Demands:

• Lifting and pulling of hoses and operating cleaning equipment.
• Walking, lifting, bending, climbing stairs and ladders frequently.
• Ability to lift 25lbs.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

• Working inside and outside of plant environment.
