Your role:

At MilliporeSigma working as a Truck Driver you will be assisting with the transportation of packaging, raw material, finished goods within Norwood Plant.

• Spotting/relocating of ISO Tankers for Manufacturing
• Loading, unloading, and stock put away of material plant wide
• Following safe driving practices, proper hazardous segregation, and correct blocking/bracing
• Supporting distribution functions for daily operations
• Operating multiple forklift models safely and effectively
• Operating RF Scan guns for stock movement

This position is on 1st shift - 5:30am to 2:00 pm ET and will be Monday - Friday.

Physical Attributes:

• Ability to walk, stand, bend, and twist, lift and carry up to 70 pounds on consistent basis, lift/reach overhead, visual ability, flexibility, and manual dexterity.

Who you are:

Basic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• CDL Class A - Tanker Endorsed
• Ability to join the union within 120 days of starting role

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1+ years manufacturing experience
• CDL Experience (Over the road or interplant)
• Ability to function within SAP
• Pass DOT certification training
• Ability to learn and apply safe, functional, and efficient work practices
• Ability to read and interpret material safety data sheets and other pertinent documents relating to safety, customer requirements, and procedures
• Ability to perform basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication)
• Ability to thoroughly document batch information legibly and accurately
