Join our team of competent and compassionate professionals as a Triage Clinician in the Mobile Crisis Interventionprogram at Behavioral Health Network!

Your experience, knowledge and great skills will support the Mobile Crisis Intervention program with the following:

  • Managing incoming crisis calls.
  • De-escalating and supporting callers to determine their current needs.
  • Gathering information about the crisis at hand along with basic demographic and insurance information.
  • Prioritizing mobile assessments as the preferred method of response.
  • assigning appropriate crisis clinical staff to cases based on the triage guidelines.
  • Documenting triage calls in timely, concise, and succinct manner.

What are we looking for in a Triage Clinician?
  • Master's Degree with 0-1.5 years of post-graduate clinical work experience.
  • Demonstrating a basic understanding of emergent medical or legal response needed.
  • Demonstrating the ability to engage in empathetic, non-judgmental response.
  • Possessing an understanding of a crisis state and effective de-escalation skills.
  • Possessing an understanding of family systems, mental health, and substance use disorders.
  • Understanding of crisis response pertaining to the identified level of distress.

Crisis/Emergency Services and Supports Program:

BHN's Crisis Program provides 24/7 front line response to individuals of all ages who are experiencing a behavioral health crisis, regardless of insurance. BHN provides services on a mobile basis, including home and community-based settings or in an emergency department when needed.

Behavioral Health Network is a growing non-profit community behavioral health agency that has been providing services to children, adults, families and communities in Western Massachusetts since 1938. BHN provides comprehensive, outcome-driven behavioral health care.
