The Treasury & Accounts Receivable Manager is responsible for cash related functions for the Company including cash application, collections, short-term investing and borrowing, wire payments, cash reporting and forecasting, bank account maintenance, interest rate management, foreign currency hedging and bank relationship management. The role involves both North America hands-on activities as well as Global Strategy and oversight responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Treasury

  • Manages day-to-day activities in treasury functions to meet the financial obligations of the organization.
  • Optimizes interest rates through methods such as cash concentration, utilizing alternative interest rate contracts, etc.
  • Manages the Company's foreign currency hedging strategies to minimize the risk of sudden and significant foreign currency swings.
  • Regularly calculates current and forecasted bank covenants to ensure compliance.
  • Conducts regular cash forecasts to ensure liquidity is available to meet business needs.
Accounts Receivable
  • Approves of new customer accounts; including the evaluation of financial credit worthiness to establish credit limits and credit terms.
  • Facilitates monthly customer account meetings with Sales, Quality, and Operations to review payment history and discuss past due accounts.
  • Manages collections activities such as sending follow-up inquiries, negotiating with past due accounts, keeping track of cash receipts, and referring accounts to collection agencies.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or business administration.
  • Five years of experience in financial planning or accounting
  • Supervisory experience
  • MBA, CPA, or license as a Certified Treasury Professional a strong plus
  • Strong accounting, organizational, and multitasking skills
  • Expertise in areas of investments and treasury
  • Deep working knowledge of financial principles and attention to detail
  • Keen analytical and problem solving skills
