Responsibilities:

  • Train all level employees on laboratory skills and company culture.
  • Design, develop and deliver effective training programs
  • Create and adapt curriculum for a variety of audiences and learning delivery methods
  • Create, modify and improve multimedia teaching materials
  • Perform in classroom and in lab (hands on) training
  • Conduct orientation sessions to assess level of skills
  • Evaluate training effectiveness
  • Provide audit support regarding training records and methods.
  • Provide train the trainer courses.
  • Execute required competency testing as required per Training procedure.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a science related field
  • 2 + years of laboratory experience
  • 1 + yr of experience in instructional writing and/or instructional design experience preferred
  • 1 + yr experience conducting on the job training
  • Dependable, accurate, consistent, ability to solve problems independently
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrates understanding of different learning styles and ability to adapt teaching style
  • Able to travel up to 25% of the time

Working Conditions:
  • Onsite M-F in South Plainfield, New Jersey lab location
  • Working within a wet laboratory.
  • Employee will be working in an area with potentially infectious materials.
  • Employee will be responsible for maintaining a clean work environment and to follow Universal Precautions for bloodborne
