The Electrification Manufacturing Engineer will have experience in industrial vehicle assembly & testing and knowledge on Electric Vehicles or Electrification systems and components, familiar with lean production principles, drives step changes through technological improvements in manufacturing process with focus on industrial vehicle assembly and their Electrification.

This position will be ideally located in: Racine (WI), Burr Ridge (IL), Burlington (IA) or Wichita (KS); other US locations may be considered


  • Develop Electrification vehicle assembly processes, from the macro assembly sequence till the Work Instruction documents in collaboration with plants experts
  • Drives the Design for Manufacturing optimization of Electrical vehicle working with Design Engineering and Advanced Manufacturing Engineering team, using tools such as Digital Mock Up
  • Contributes to manufacturing investments estimation for the Electrification projects
  • Supports creation of Electrification manufacturing knowledge across CNHi
  • In collaboration with Safety team supports plants on safety process improvement
  • Generate and collect design best practices to guide new product development
  • In collaboration with testing team assures specific tests are implemented and performed
  • Supports plants on processes definition for critical electrical components (handling, stock, etc)

Annual Base Salary Range for this role: $78,850 USD - $132,000 USD (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)


  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Systems, or Automotive or related technical field with minimum of 5 years' experience in manufacturing environment (preferably automotive) solving complex technical problems and delivering solutions. In lieu of Bachelor's degree will consider Associate's degree with minimum of 7 years' experience in manufacturing environment solving complex technical problems and delivering solutions or an equivalent combination of education and experience in the subject matter field.
  • General knowledge of Battery Electric Vehicle, Hybrid Vehicle and related components
  • Knowledge of lean production systems; kaizen and application of problem-solving techniques
  • Ability to travel up to 25% (some international travel required).
