Education/Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training
• At least 5 years of IT and software testing experience
• Demonstrated experience in the following:
  • QA automation and frame work development
  • Strong coding skills and concepts in Java, JavaScript, Gherkin, Groovy, Python, shell scripts
  • Testing web services & XML
  • Testing Angular based web apps (Selenium, Protractor)
  • Understanding of databases
  • Software quality assurance methodologies, tools and processes
  • Functional, Non-functional, Performance testing
  • BDD using Gherkin and Cucumber
  • Technical testing tools including: Cypress IO, GIT, Selenium, Cucumber, Postman, Performance Center, Ready API/SoapUI, Sabre, Azure DevOps
• Experience designing and creating robust automated test scripts to address business & technical use cases and writes maintainable code
• Experience identifying and implementing process improvements for Quality Engineering efficiency
• Experience with agile software development methodologies
• Experience with and is willing to initiate sharing knowledge with others and take guidance from others.
• Demonstrated initiative, flexibility and ability to adapt to changing priorities and work environments
• Possess a keen desire to learn and expand depth of knowledge including coding concepts
• Ability to analyze complex problems and implement solutions and/or workarounds
• Ability to work well within a team environment, as well as independently
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ability to explain concepts and adjust messaging based on the audience
• Object-oriented development experience
• Code development knowledge

Top 3 to 5 skillsets / yrs. of experience:
