Our client, a visionary restaurant company bringing together differentiated yet complementary brands, is seeking a Temporary Commercialization Assistant to come on for a minimum of 6 months. This is a flexible role with a hybrid schedule, with hours from 8:30 to 5:30. The ideal candidate will be very organized and detail oriented with at least one year of experience related to this role. Responsibilities include coordinating the collection of product information, maintenance of ingredient specific data as well as other data collection, administrative tasks as assigned, assisting with product receiving, storage, and compliance reviews, data entry and validation, creating and managing spreadsheets and cross-functional project support.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required, preferably with a degree in Nutrition, Food Science, Biology, Animal, or Agricultural Science.
• 1 or more years Quality Assurance, commercialization, production or R&D experience, preferably in the food industry

Technology Skills Required: Practical application of common software, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Power Point. Experience with Oracle-based systems and/or web tools such as BOX are beneficial.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; stand; walk; use hands and finger to feel and handle; reach with arms and hands; talk and hear. While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently is required to stoop, kneel, and crouch, pass in and out of freezer or refrigerated temperatures, lift a weight or exert a force up to a maximum of 25 pounds.

Pay is $19 - 20 / Hour
