Job Title: US-Application Programmer-Senior (USD) Location: Jacksonville, FL or Irving, TXExpected Duration: 15 Months Job Description:**The Manager for this last role(Nikul Patel) is seeking someone who has a Company background - this is a priority. He needs someone who knows the ins and outs of internal tools, systems, and department. He already has someone who is brand new, which gives a good perspective, but he needs someone who has that Client inside knowledge, who can navigate thru the role quickly.Manager does not have time to train a new person on Client internal processes and tools - it would make his job more difficult.Someone with a technical PM background is highly desired, as they will work hard, remain organized,Understanding of RISK is a plus.Role: Tier1 Tier 2 Risk and Tech Debt LeadIs a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within own field and contributes to directional strategy by considering their application in own job and the business. Recognized technical authority for an area within the business. Requires basic commercial awareness. There are typically multiple people within the business that provide the same level of subject matter expertise. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Significant impact on the area through complex deliverables. Provides advice and counsel related to the technology or operations of the business. Work impacts an entire area, which eventually affects the overall performance and effectiveness of the sub-function/job family.* 8-10 years of relevant experience in an Engineering/Technology role as a lead* Experience working in Financial Services or a large complex and/or global environment* Project Management experience* Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication* Comprehensive knowledge of design metrics, analytics tools, benchmarking activities and related reporting to identify best practices* Demonstrated analytic/diagnostic skills* Ability to work in a matrix environment and partner with virtual teams* Ability to work independently, multi-task, and take ownership of various parts of a project or initiative* Ability to work under pressure and manage to tight deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements* Proven track record of operational process change and improvementAbsolute minimum needs: Served in a technical project/program management role for at least 3+ yearsDesired skills/experience: PMP/Scrum Master certification is preferred.About BCforward: BCforward began as an IT business solution and staffing firm.
