RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's client, an Omni-Channel Advertising Services giant, is expanding and looking to bring on a Tax Manager in New York, NY. Reporting to the VP of Tax, the Tax Manager will manage US Federal, State and Local income tax compliance for a partnership and a C-Corp consolidation group.Duties Include:- Tax Manager will maintain tax calendar and compliance control list
- Conduct taxable income calculations and maintain pertaining workpaper and documents
- Accurately prepare and file federal and state tax returns in a timely manner
- Manage quarterly estimate and extension payments
- As a Tax Manager, you will identify any tax issue and developing solutions
- Manage audit notices and inquiries
- Monitor developments in tax legislation
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting; CPA preferred
- 5-7 years of income tax experience; Big 4 accounting experience preferred
- Extensive knowledge of partnership income tax and income tax compliance
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office and CorpTax software
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
