Tax Manager * Job Title: * Tax Manager - Junior lvl
* Location: * Bellevue, WA - Hybrid schedule, then remote 100% after a short time
* Salary: *$100k-$120k with bonus potential based on company performance and individual performance

We are a Premier Regional Accountancy Firm serving industries like technology, construction, real-estate, and manufacturing & distribution. We have a unique firm split into three key areas of focus - Tax & Audit, Wealth Management and Business Accounting. We are looking for a junior level Tax Manager with minimum 1 year of relevant tax experience looking to plant their feet and grow their careers.

What You Will Be Doing -Review and manage tax returns, extensions, tax planning calculations, for all entity types with a focus on Individual
-Review financial statements and perform accounting and adjusting entries, bank reconciliations, and client books and records
-Prepare and review complex tax planning projections for individual and corporate estimated tax liability
-Manage and monitor client deliverables and due dates
-Prepare or review complex U.S. and state individual income, gift tax, and estate tax returns
-Conduct complex tax research and prepare memorandum outlining findings and conclusions
-Respond to IRS and state agency audits, inquires, and tax notices
-Communicate directly with existing clients, colleagues, management, and IRS representatives regarding various tax matters
-Lead department in knowledge of software, processes, and workflows
What You Need for this Position - Minimum 1 year of relevant tax experience
- CPA license required
- Excellent Communicator is a big plus
- Experience in individual tax compliance, planning
- Gift, estate, and trust return experience would be a plus
- Experience in partnership tax would be a plus
- Outgoing and friendly personality a team player
- Forward-thinking and always looking for ways to improve, learn, and grow
- Desire and ability to train, mentor/lead, and develop staff
