As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will be responsible for partnering with our Laboratory Team on full cycle HR recruiting needs. You'll need at least 3-5 years of experience providing partnership recruiting top talent, evolving a culture, and coaching and advising leaders, all to ensure we have the best talent helping Montrose deliver its mission.

Our objective as HR leaders is to enable Montrose to continue to scale and grow through partnership with our business leaders to ensure we have the talent, organization, and systems in place. We coach, consult, orchestrate, and proactively look around corners for our business leaders.

This role can be based remotely in the Southwest regions - ideally in AZ or TX.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

The role of a Talent Acquisition Specialist is both strategic and hands-on, providing full cycle Human Resources partnership to our Lab operations teams. This role is critical in executing our people initiatives, providing exceptional partnership, and driving HR functional excellence and process improvement. The person who fills this role should have a passion for recruiting and strong interest in supporting talent acquisition efforts across the division.

Enthalpy Analytical, is part of the larger organization, Montrose Environmental Group, is comprised of over 9 laboratories servicing air, water, soil, tobacco, cannabis, and toxicity testing. Regulations drive the need for our services, but our unique capabilities allow us to add value to clients beyond environmental compliance.

Our Enthalpy HR Team is currently seeking a temporary Talent Acquisition Specialist to join us.

PROFESSIONAL SKILLS
  • Hands-on experience in industry-specific recruitment
  • In-depth knowledge ofcandidate sourcingtechniques for active and passive candidates
  • Working knowledge of the industry
  • Strategic understanding of staffing tools and electronic job boards
This role will be responsible for a full range of activities including:
  • Drive successful execution of HR and talent management processes related to organizational development, talent and leadership development, recruiting top talent, evolving a culture, and coaching and advising leaders, in addition to the HR fundamentals of performance management, compensation, and employment relations in accordance with federal and state employment laws
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to assess hiring needs, effectively understand requisitions, and find talent that aligns with the needs of the business.
  • Utilize applicant tracking system (Workday) to create job postings, review candidate pool with hiring managers
  • Conduct phone screening interviews, and make recommendations for hire.
  • Facilitate onboarding sessions with new hires
  • Support division wide talent acquisition efforts by managing the full cycle of recruiting, from sourcing through offer/close and collaborating with HRBPs/Hiring Managers to understand, define, and build talent profiles
  • Develop personal credibility and effective working relationships with leaders
  • Assist with launching university relations programs with our local universities to attract and build talent pipelines
  • Identify competency and skill gaps and develop value-added programs in the areas of training, career mobility and job performance
  • Show strong consultative and stakeholder management skills that result in people seeking them out, knowing they will provide measured advice with a value-added perspective
  • Collaborate with Montrose's Corporate HR team to improve the programs, policies, practices and processes associated with meeting the strategic and operational employee matters of the organization
NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, individuals must be able to perform each duty and responsibility satisfactorily.   • Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in human resources, business, or related degree
  • 3-5+ years of recruiting experience in a high growth environment, preferably in a STEM industry
  • Broad based, hands-on HR experience with strong emphasis on talent acquisition alongside training and development, succession planning and compliance with federal and state employment laws and regulations
  • Experience within rapid and complex changing work environments
  • Success in creating and driving effective development, employee relations, retention and reward programs
  • Ability to work in an independent environment with a huge amount of drive
  • Passion for innovative HR solutions and process improvement
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification
  • Knowledge of Workday
