ABOUT THE JOB:
The primary focus of this position is to provide hardware, software and system support for the Mobile Mini Information Technology department.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
Primary Responsibilities:

  • Configure, administer, and maintain Windows 2003-2012 servers running on a VMWare vSphere 5 environment
  • Provide outstanding customer service and advanced technical troubleshooting on a wide variety of software products and hardware platforms
  • Record detailed problem description and resolution related to the end-user into the help desk work order system
  • Follow up with end-users on all open and closed work orders to provide status information and ensure that the problem has been resolved to their satisfaction
  • Receive and resolve all escalation tickets from other team members and immediately escalate high severity problems to the next level in the team
  • Manage software implementations performing required research to achieve a successful implementation
  • Other duties as assigned. Regular attendance is required to fulfill the essential functions of the job
Equipment Used and Responsibility:
  • Computer, telephone and electronic office equipment
  • MS Office Suite
  • VMWare, vSphere/vCenter
  • Windows Server 2000-2003
  • Goldmine, Symantec, Backup Exec, Numara Track-it!, RealVNC
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Experience with Windows Server 2000 - 2003, Active Directory, Windows 7, Office 2003-2013 Suite required
  • 5 years' experience in a similar role
  • Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
  • Microsoft MCSA/MCSE:Server Infrastructure, VMWare vSphere/vCenter, Goldmine, Symantec Backup Exec, Numara Track-It!, RealVNC experience preferred
  • Experience supporting end-users via telephone and in person
  • Highly analytical and able to analyze trouble tickets and work on projects/tasks with minimal assistance
  • Ability to handle multiple projects/tasks at the same time
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with great attention to detail
