ECS is seeking a System Administrator I to work in our Pocatello, ID office. Please Note: This position is contingent upon contract award.

Job Description:
ECS is seeking a TS-cleared System Administrator I in Pocatello, ID. We offer the chance to support the world's finest law enforcement organization and help the people that keep us safe. In this job you will support agents, analysts, and professionals and technology they use to fight terrorism, espionage, cyber-attacks, and major criminal threats. This position performs activities associated with implementation, integration and support of computer systems in mission critical response operations environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide user support for system and application issues
• Provides advice and training to end-users
• Maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned
• Perform systems administration of desktop and server systems connected to local and wide area networks.
• Perform system management responsibilities involving enterprise access control requirements.
• Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance support for current and emerging technology IT systems
• Provide support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.
• Provide support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers
• Proactively, reactively and remotely monitor all FBI enterprise wide servers, applications, systems and databases
• Take corrective action by identifying and escalating issues through monitoring, to ensure the operability of all servers and all systems

Required Skills:

• Top Secret Clearance
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience and / or technical certifications
• 1-2 years of demonstrated performance in in supporting business systems.
• Problem analysis and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy within documentation
• Prior experience providing technical support in a business environment
• Experience with maintaining and improving customer satisfaction through proven troubleshooting ability.
• Knowledge of the following: Applications and services; Troubleshooting systems and software solutions
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Basic understanding of IT Service Management processes
• Ability to work in a 24/7 environment

Desired Skills:

• Energized when faced with complex technical challenges and diligently work to identify creative solutions.
• Ability to perform high quality work, both independently and with a team, in a fast-moving environment.
• Ability to plan and prioritize tasks to successfully meet/exceed customer expectations.
• 1-2 years of experience working with government customer
• Experience with making modifying hardware/software components to correct defects and improve performance.
