Job Title: Quality Technician

Shift: Swing Shift

Pay Rate: $25 to $30 per hour

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Quality Technician in the San Jose are. The Quality Technician will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of our products through meticulous inspection and adherence to established standards. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, strong communication and documentation skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed inspections of products according to established procedures and specifications.
• Interpret and understand engineering drawings to ensure accurate inspection.
• Utilize inspection equipment and tools to assess product quality.
• Communicate any deviations or non-conformances to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate documentation of inspection results and any corrective actions taken.
• Demonstrate proficiency in basic math and computer skills to record and analyze data.
• Utilize ERP systems for inventory management and reporting purposes.
• Exhibit strong organization skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions.
• Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills in interacting with colleagues and supervisors.
• Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to all safety protocols.
• Possess the ability to lift objects weighing up to 50lbs.
• Exhibit hand/eye coordination for precise inspection tasks.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in quality control or a related field preferred.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Experience with ERP systems preferred.
• Demonstrated organization and multitasking abilities.
