The Senior Vice President, Environmental Data Solutions will be responsible to manage all sales and marketing for our newest Montrose service line, which is a software platform that helps manage clients air monitoring data as part of clients commitment to environmental stewardship. You'll need at least 15 years of experience in SaaS sales and a proven track record of launching new products to the market.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

As a key member of the Environmental Data Solutions team, this role will be responsible for a full range of activities including:
  • Developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies to meet or exceed company revenue goals
  • Building and leading a high-performing sales team and marketing team from the ground up to launch, market and sell a new service to Montrose's client base
  • Identifying and developing new business opportunities through prospecting, market research for our ideal client profile
  • Building and maintaining relationships with key clients and partners
  • Collaborating with other departments and stakeholders to develop and execute sales and marketing plans
  • Analyzing market trends and competitor activity to inform sales strategies
  • Preparing and delivering regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management
  • Providing guidance, mentorship, and training to the sales team
  • Create marketing materials including website, software demo package, pitch deck, sales sheets, etc
  • Gather critical voice of the customer feedback to continue to develop and improve our platform to meet clients evolving needs
NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, individuals must be able to perform each duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
  • 15+ year experience in the software as a service industry
  • Proven track record of sales
  • Exceptional communication skills
