Our you are next Maintenance Superintendent?

As our Maintenance Superintendent you will lead and manage all aspects of the maintenance and repair programs associated with dragline assets in Florida Mining. This will include all structural, mechanical and electrical assets on the dragline. This position will manage a team of personnel that is responsible for overseeing scheduled dragline outages (repair days). Staff that report to this role will be responsible for managing contract resources that perform the labor associated with the repair day.

What will you do?

• Direct and manage staff that are responsible for scoping, planning, procuring parts, scheduling and executing maintenance and reliability work (structural, mechanical, electrical) during scheduled outages (repair days) associated with a fleet of draglines. Ensure outages are meeting all applicable standards and requirements in terms of safety, quality, timeliness and cost.
  
• Coordinate the defect elimination effort by identifying bad actors, root cause analysis, and working with Maintenance and Engineering on a defect elimination plan.
  
• Ensure regulatory, corporate and site safety and environmental standards are being followed by conducting safety audits, risk assessments and housekeeping tours.
  
• Lead and manage the implementation and continuous improvement of the Reliability program and inspection procedures.
  
• People Management: Provide work direction to the team as well as timely and constructive feedback to ensure employees have a clear understanding of their work, roles, business goals and performance standards. Manage performance issues when necessary. Develop and coach employees in order to retain and grow organizational talent. Support employees in their career development at Mosaic.
  

Our Ideal Candidate Will Have the Following:

• High School/GED required. Bachelor's Degree preferred, major in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Technology Education.
  
• 5+ years of related experience performing dragline maintenance activities is required
  
• 5+ years of direct personnel management experience is required
  
• 2+ years of related experience performing or managing scheduled maintenance outages is required
  
• Working knowledge of Maximo is preferred
  
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Project or other Gant Chart related software is preferred
