The Supervisor, Community Management cultivates the organization's social community through community advocacy programs and active engagement with community members. The Supervisor, Community Management works within thorough, prescribed guidelines and procedures; uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors to solve basic problems; collaborates with management and top professionals/specialists in selection of methods, techniques, and analytical approach.

Responsibilities

  • The Supervisor, Community Management builds visibility and credibility of organization's products and services throughout community via chats, posts, and interactions.
  • Strategizes methods to scale communities and drive greater connections among community members and engages new community members.
  • Decisions are typically are related to schedule, plans and daily operations.
  • Performs escalated or more complex work of a similar nature, and supervises a group of typically support and technical associates; coordinates and provides day-to-day oversight to associates.
  • Ensures consistency in execution across team. Holds team members accountable for following established policies.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • A minimum of four years of related experience involving community outreach or related structured and planned activities for an organization
  • Previous experience leading a team in event or community outreach planning
  • Previous experience using MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively/professionally with individuals at all levels of the organization
  • Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
  • Excellent presentation skills

  • A valid driver license and dependable transportation necessary
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bilingual (English & Spanish)
  • Previous work with vulnerable adults or the geriatric population
Additional Information
  • Daily travel to local clinics , Overnight travel rare
  • Mileage Reimbursement
  • Occasional attendance at community events; including weekend events
For this job, associates are required to be fully COVID vaccinated or undergo weekly COVID testing and wear a face covering while at work. The weekly testing will need to be done through an approved Humana vendor, and unvaccinated associates should follow all social distancing and masking protocols if they are required to come into a Humana facility or work outside of their home.
