Primary Duties / Responsibilities:
- Organize, prepare, and implement planned and emergency maintenance work activities for the department.
- Generate and schedule maintenance work orders, track department objectives, and generate reports and analysis.
- Assist the Plant Engineer as required and interact with the production department and maintenance team.
- Continuously drive the facility's culture toward a higher level of safety.
- Inventory control of parts and ordering assistance.
- Advise or interpret information for operations and maintenance personnel and provide feedback in the form of metrics, effectiveness, and efficiency.
- Exchange information with supervisors, distributors, equipment manufacturers and vendors or contractors
- In coordination with Plant Engineer, guide maintenance personnel in planned and unplanned work activities.
- Assign work to Maintenance Technicians and follow up to ensure that the work was completed.
The qualified candidate will be a junior or senior in the fall of 2024 with a degree focus in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical or Environmental Engineering.
