The Strength & Condition Professional – PRN provides age appropriate exercise services including fitness assessments, member orientation, individual and group exercise classes, individual and group personal training sessions and assists with program development and marketing.
 
The Strength & Condition Professional – PRN instructs participant selecting appropriate teaching method; directs and supervises the activities of individual or group fitness members; performs administrative duties including follow up phone calls, calendar updates, and facility counts; participates in hospital related activities to enhance personal and professional growth; participates in the development and implementation of strategic goals and objectives for health promotions and provides input into the development and implementation of the strategic/marketing plan for health promotions.
 
The Strength & Condition Professional- PRN provides supervision and education to participants requesting personal or group training; exhibits good guest relations to participant, visitors, physicians, co-workers, students, and volunteers; assures continued professional development through attendance at continuing education and professional conferences; and adheres to hospital policies and procedures including infection control, safety, and administrative.
 
The ideal Strength & Condition Professional – PRN candidate will contribute to departmental efficiency and effectiveness by offering specific problem solving suggestions; upholds professional and ethical conduct; demonstrates effective communication skills; and exhibits a positive attitude.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    EDUCATION - Bachelors

    EXPERIENCE - 1-2 years experience required

    CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION -
           NON RQI AHA BLS (BLSNRQI), Cardiopulmonary Resuscitate (CPR), CPR/AED American Red Cross (CPREAD), Heartsaver CPR AED (HSAED): Must have one of the following:
    -- Basic Life Support (BLS)
    -- Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
    -- Heartsaver AED (HSAED)
    -- CPR/AED through American Red Cross.
