Job Description Summary:
As a Mobile Engineer for PayPal Checkout Engineering, you will operate across the software development lifecycle, from planning and architecture, to development, testing, deployment for our mobile SDKs. You will be responsible for developing industry-leading Checkout experiences that bring unquestionable value to both merchants and buyers.

In this role, you will be responsible for shaping the future of PayPal's SDK Checkout products.

Job Description:

• Work with product and design teams to develop new ideas and explore new opportunities. Your opinion matters and you'll have opportunities to have a say in how things are built out.
  
• Architect and build your features using Swift and Objective-C
  
• Write code that is designed to be reusable and that can be shared amongst other teams.
  
• Bring product and code improvement ideas to the team.
  
• Experience working with notifications and background tasks
  
• Experience building embeddable software development kits for others to consume, as well as having knowledge about the pros and cons of SDK development.
  
• Experience with creating custom components
  
• Experience with complex or dynamic layouts in iOS
  
• Experience with localization and internationalization.
  
• Familiarity with animation and shadows in iOS.
  
• Deep understanding of consuming GraphQL and REST APIs.
  
• Experience in mentoring other members of the team.
  
• Deep understanding of testing best practices on iOS and familiarity with at least one testing pattern in iOS
