RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's client in the West Allis area is looking for a Staff Accountant. This role will be responsible for the accounting functions for the Company. The Staff Accountant supports the accounting and finance team and assists with additional projects and duties.Responsibilities:- Performing basic accounting procedures
- Support accounts payable to ensure accuracy and timeliness of invoice creation and data entry
- Prepare journal entries to multiple entity ledgers
- Perform monthly bank and general ledge reconciliations
- Provide detailed analysis and explanations of transactions and variances
- Prepare documentation for external auditors
- Monthly reporting to banks and/or investors
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred
- 2+ years progressive accounting experience preferred
- Strong computer aptitude, including expertise with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook as well as applicable accounting software
- Experience with Yardi accounting software and Point Click Care (PCC) preferred
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
