Accountant - Corporate

Haven Behavioral Healthcare has an opening within our Corporate Office for a Staff Accountant.

Haven Behavioral Healthcare operates seven acute-care psychiatric hospitals and outpatient clinics across the United States that offer a full continuum of care for anyone dealing with mental health and substance abuse issues, from young adults to seniors.

Headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee, Haven treats a complete array of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, ADHD, PTSD, personality disorders and many other illnesses. Our addiction treatment services include alcohol abuse, illicit drug addiction, and prescription drug use. Each facility is specially designed to provide a safe, comfortable and nurturing environment to begin the journey to better mental health.

Position Summary:
The Accountant is responsible for the completion of month-end close, preparation & consolidation of fixed assets, preparation of annual financial audit paperwork for corporate and all development companies. This position assists in the payroll processes, such as review and uploads, along with assisting Accounts Payable in completing tasks.

Details:

  • Prepare/key entries for Corporate Office and subleased facilities
  • Prepare monthly account reconciliations
  • Prepare intercompany invoices, reconcile consolidated intercompany balances and assist Financial Operations department in addressing treatment of intercompany transactions
  • Prepare corporate allocations including CBO, Medical Records, Utilization Review, Compliance, Business Development, and Financial Operations
  • Prepare corporate allocated hours to hospitals' file for submission to Financial Operations department for month-end FTE tracking
  • Prepare variance analysis for Corporate financial statements
  • Ability to assume other duties as assigned
  • Prepare and consolidate fixed asset roll forwards for GAAP and tax on a monthly basis
  • Prepare annual financial audit work papers for corporate and developmental companies
  • Prepare annual work papers for 401k audit
  • Assist in answering questions for annual financial and 401k audits

Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent experience.
