Staff Accountant Are you an Accountant with Public Accounting experience? Do you hold a CPA or actively pursuing your CPA? What You Will Be Doing - Become proficient in the preparation of individual, corporate, partnership and other types of tax returns
- Assume responsibility for the completion of tax returns under supervision
- Communicate with clients regarding information needed for preparation of tax return or clarification of issues
- Be aware of budgets on tax returns and have the ability to work with senior, supervisor, manager or partner on keeping within the budgets
- Perform limited tax research, with guidance of senior, supervisor, manager or partner
- Develop knowledge of GAAP, auditing standards, review and compilations standards and other standards that affect the preparation of financial statements
- Develop an awareness of tax issues, business problems and service opportunities with existing clients
What You Need for this Position Must have requirements:
- QuickBooks Experience preferred
- Accounting Experience preferred
- Bachelor's Degree required
- Actively pursuing CPA certification by studying and sitting for all scheduled exams.
