Location: Pittsburgh, PA
Description: The Judge Group is currently seeking a Sr. UI / UX Developer with an active secret clearance to support a large DoD organization in Pittsburg, PA. This position requires occasional days onsite in Pittsburg. For immediate consideration email your resume to rkissinger@judge.com.

The ideal candidate should have a thorough understanding of agile software development practices and experience delivering deployable software in short sprints. They will work as an integral part of an Agile Scrum team-a highly productive team of technical professionals who thrive on supporting the customer's mission and growth objectives. The individual will work in close collaboration with software developers/engineers, stakeholders, and end users within Agile processes.

Responsibilities

1.Working closely with UI/UX designers and taking design concepts from Figma or sketches and implementing them in React (Typescript)

2.Collaborate closely with Full Stack developers to refactor the Frontend in response to evolving requirements and backend API modifications

3.Work in a Git environment with a medium to large team and manage merge conflicts that may arise

4.Building modern web components and dashboards in pure JavaScript and CSS

Required Skills

1.3+ years working with ReactJS (JavaScript and/or Typescript) or similar Frameworks

2.Experience with gRPC and Protobuffers

3.Proficient with REST API's to communicate to the backend from the Frontend

4.Experience with NodeJS package managers like npm and/or yarn

5.Advanced CSS skills, styles, and theming for React, Vue, or Angular projects

6.Knowledge or familiarity with Material UI

7.Experience using Json Web Tokens (JWT) and other methods for authentication in the Frontend

8.Experience building custom Dashboards

9.Experience building responsive web designs and layouts using pure JavaScript and CSS

10.Ability to create web components that look new and modern

Desired Skills

1.Familiarity with the Atomic Design Principle and utilizing it in UI/UX

2.Experience with NextJS and/or ViteJS

3.Have worked closely with WebSocket technologies and implemented them on the Frontend

4.Understanding of Atomic CSS and the pros and cons of Tailwind CSS

5.Knowledge or experience of Bootstrap

6.Have used or implemented D3 or Three.js in their projects

Strong understanding of WebGL
