The Sr. TM Sales Officer is responsible for assisting the Bank’s Commercial and Trading group to identify, propose, and effectively close treasury management product opportunities with existing and prospective business customers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Leads and develops the treasury management sales strategy to increase market penetration and maximize revenue. Works closely with sales team to provide banking solutions to customers and prospects.
• Assists in building a new Third Party Payment Processing Vertical to provide entry and penetration into this new segment. Responsible for driving fee income goals to support the commercial team’s objectives in both the new vertical but also the existing commercial segments of the Specialty Finance group.
• Maintains industry knowledge of treasury management solutions and pricing to keep products current and competitive.
• Works with Treasury Management, Sales Enablement to evaluate and implement new products as necessary
• Coordinates and develops call lists of new and existing customers for Treasury Management sales opportunities
• Coordinates with Treasury Management Operations and Implementations team to ensure effective onboarding of new business and provides thorough follow through for a high-level customer experience.
• Develops and recommends marketing objectives, departmental goals, including sales volume and profit
• Monitor customer usage to identify and remediate customer attrition, maximize fee income, and maintain sound risk management practices.
• Grow fee income revenue from cash management products, including a review of account analysis activity and identification of fee income opportunities.
• Support the sales process through discussions with Commercial and Retail Bankers, product demonstrations and consulting on effective strategies.
• Attendance in annual national conferences and joining relevant associations will be required
• Job will require travel
• Actively participate in industry’s trade shows and networking events.
• All other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field
• 10+ years of Treasury Management experience
• Knowledge and experience in of Treasury Management service needs and specifications for Commercial, Asset Based Lending, Trading Companies, Third party Payment Processors and other specialty commercial niches.
• Thorough knowledge of treasury management products/services
• Technological competencies to understand, operate and explain the bank’s products, operating systems, and support programs
• Innovative, displays initiative, is self-motivated and able to adjust quickly to changing business landscapes
• Detail oriented and organized with strong time management skills
• Demonstrates ability to use sound judgment and make decisions in a consistent manner
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to communicate with all levels of employees
• High-level proficiency in MS Office Suite

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Travel required 20%
• In person meetings as required.
• Remote Workspace, free of distraction, and suitable for professional business needs is required.
• Usual office environment with frequent sitting, walking, and standing, and occasional climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and balancing. Frequent use of eye, hand, and finger coordination enabling the use of office equipment. Oral and auditory capacity enabling interpersonal communication as well as communication through automated devices.

The salary range for this position is $100,900 to $157,800.
