Position Title: Sr. Systems Developer - Front End

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Contribute to the development, modification, implementation of applications;
• Need involvement in the design, code, test, debugs, and document programs-positions at the highest technical level of all phases of applications systems analysis and programming activities;
• Come up with high-quality enterprise web and mobile applications and services in a fast-paced agile environment;
• Design, code, test, install and support significant enhancements to existing application systems and small subsets of development projects or purchased applications;
• Provides on-call support under senior team members;
• Troubleshoots and corrects straightforward and routine system problems/abends;
• Oversees major applications integration efforts, including designs, codes, tests, installs, and supports complex, integrated applications systems;
• Guides the customization, implementation, and support of purchased package applications;
• Analyzes, reviews, and rewrites existing application programs to increase operating efficiency and/or adapt to new requirements;
• Gather and analyze information for developing and modifying systems;
• Translate knowledge into systems designs;
• Prepare detailed program specifications and design conversion tasks schedules;
• Translates specifications into a logical process that includes rational design, coding, testing, documentation, etc.;
• Ensures adherence to and the application of IS established standards, procedures, tools, etc., and in the maintenance of all application programs and required documentation;
• Develops, documents, and maintains best practices, project standards, procedures, application, quality objectives, and "lessons learned," including metrics for assessing progress;
• Ensures that applications systems developed in a way that complies with architectural standards and established methodologies practices;
• May participate in IS project teams working with Systems Specialist and Business Process Specialist to quantify program/system requirements, develop and execute program test plans, review test results and as a team member, report the system issues, complete assigned tasks to detail, and deadlines; and
• Accuracy in support of project plans and schedules provides realistic work estimates and accurate and timely status reporting.

MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Master's degree in Computer and Information Science, Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline with an information technology focus
• 5 years of experience in one or more IT functional areas.
• 4 years of experience in EACH of the following:
  • HTML5 (Hyper Text Markup Language);
  • CSS (Cascading Style Sheet) front end query tools;
  • Microsoft SQL (Structured Query Language);
  • Java;
  • Relational database design;
  • Software package and/or systems implementation;
  • Application and understanding of a wide range of interpretive analysis tools, structured analysis, and design techniques; and
  • Application and understanding of EACH of the following:
    • System development life cycle;
    • Dynamics of applications development projects;
    • Information technology practices; and
    • Methods.
• 3 years of experience in EACH of the following:
  • Job-specific stem analysis work experience with an emphasis on decision support systems;
  • Angular; and
  • RxJS (React JavaScript).
• Work from home available.
• Must reside within commuting distance from employer's Kennesaw, GA office.
• Requires approximately 25% travel to other company worksite locations.
• Experience may be gained concurrently.

In lieu of the above, the employer will also accept the following:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer and Information Science, Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline with an information technology focus
• 7 years of experience in one or more IT functional areas
• 4 years of experience in EACH of the following:
