Location: Plymouth, MN
Salary: $100,000.00 USD Annually - $115,000.00 USD Annually
Description: Our client is currently seeking a Sr. Structural Engineer
*This role is hybrid in Plymouth, MN

Responsibilities:

• Engineer new facilities, expansions and retrofits utilizing proven analytical skills, technical expertise and knowledge of code requirements
• Efficiently employ both software and manual calculations to develop innovative solutions that are to-code and constructable within project constraints
• Provide guidance and distribute work to technicians and engineers
• Prepare proposals and design documents; help estimate project fees
• Generate preliminary concepts and effectively communicate your approach
• Manage client relationships and serve as primary technical client contact on projects
• Set standards for technical excellence and efficiency through sound engineering judgment, effective problem-solving, as well as thorough engineering analysis, design and detailing
• Supervise, mentor and train engineers and technical staff to produce high-quality services and deliverables
• Manage project scope, schedules, budgets and billing for individual projects while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project delivery
• Conduct technical document reviews
• Perform site observations/evaluations (potential for 25% travel to construction sites)
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering with structural engineering emphasis.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with 8+ years of experience.
