Required Qualifications:

  • Strong discernment and problem-solving capabilities, with direct, applied experience in Supply Chain.
  • Ability to link the critical business supply chain, systems, and processes needed to influence outcomes
  • Knowledge of business systems and information technology for leading sophisticated supply chain activities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, both written and oral.
  • Consistent track record with a continuous improvement methodology (i.e. Lean, Six Sigma).
  • Strong ability to influence and lead discussions with leadership
  • Develop strong partnerships with key stakeholders and partners in Finance, Manufacturing, Program Management, Commercial, Quality, R&D, etc.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • APICS certifications
  • Anaplan or other advance planning softwares (Kinaxis, Logility, O9, SAP APO, Oracle)
  • Lean six sigma/Green or Black Belt certification

Functional Description

Coordinates the workflow of parts and products through internal and external manufacturing locations and associated information systems .Establish master schedules, production schedules, labor loading, and capacity requirements. Coordinates production plans to ensure materials are provided according to schedules. Balance inventory objectives with service levels. Participate in/drive the Sales and Operations Planning Process. Collaborate with other supply chain members, engineering, quality, manufacturing and others to optimize product flow, manage change, and launch new products. Works to resolve (in case of design changes) labor and material shortages, backlogs and other potential schedule interruptions. Ensures compliance with quality and regulatory requirements.

  • Provides expertise and advice to guide the activities of a project. Generally has an advanced level of expertise and is capable of working on any project that would typically arise in the function. Viewed as expert in the field within the Major Function.
  • Provides insight in the development of functional objectives utilizing broad expertise and knowledge.

  • May develop new approaches and applications of programs or systems to lead processes in new direction.

  • Exercises independent judgment in methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.

  • Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new or special assignments.

Experience and Education

  • Typically requires a Bachelors degree and a minimum of 13+ years of related experience.
  • At this level a graduate degree may be expected with 6 years of related experience.
