Intrado is currently seeking a talented Software Engineer for our Omaha, NE office or 100% remote work environment. If you are a developer who lives to solve unique problems and develop applications, APIs, and systems that will disrupt the traditional telecommunications industry, we want you!

Who you are:

• You are skilled with Python or GoLang and have some exposure to Django and Flask
• You are a full-stack developer willing to tackle problems anywhere in the stack.
• You are passionate about building software the "right" way and teaching that software craftsmanship mentality to others
• You've worked with cloud based technologies like AWS, GCP, Azure (we use AWS)
• You have experience with agile methods and love a good code review & backlog grooming.
• You have at least 3 years of experience as a full time Developer
• You have owned end-to-end critical pieces of a customer platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contribute to new and existing projects, collaborating with product owners, and other teams to deliver business value on an iterative basis.
• Ensure we deliver high quality software by writing clean code and utilizing pair programming, continuous integration, software tests and code reviews
• Serve as a mentor in continuously improving the team by sharing new technology/process opportunities, and best practices
• Stay actively engaged in the technology industry and understand how the evolving technologies can benefit our organization
• Enhance and maintain our RESTful API, developer docs, & SDKs.
• Create systems to connect seamlessly with our partner carriers
• Help architect, implement, deploy, and maintain backend software systems that communicate within and among geographically-dispersed data centers
• Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code CI/CD deployment pipelines for services
• Evolve or refactor systems so they can scale and support growth.
• Architect software with scalability, redundancy, and seamless survival/recovery
• Write documentation and/or technical articles for API's and projects that you've worked on.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree with major course work in computer science, MIS, or a related field is required. Equivalent work experience in a similar position may be substituted for education requirements.

• Typical candidate will have 6-9 years of experience with software engineering, system administration, programming, and/or a related field. Certifications and/or educational experience may count towards experience.
