Vertiv is looking for a Global Sr. Sales & Operations Planning Analyst to manage and optimize processes around SIOP (Sales, Inventory, Operations & Planning) globally for our Channel segment. They will monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) and utilize basic and advanced analytical tools to achieve the desired results. They will implement process improvements to provide greater transparency and visibility to Channel performance, ensure demand is accurately translated into supply side information and provide analytical support to monthly Channel SIOP process.

\RESPONSIBILITIES

  • E2Open Global SIOP Project & Planning Systems
    • Supporting and ensuring the successful implementation and ongoing adoption of the E2Open SIOP system
    • Global superuser to manage the E2Open SIOP Demand & Supply Planning solution
    • Business Lead for E2Open and global business users
  • Global Channel SIOP Process
  • Support process standardization and optimization across regions and end to end SIOP planning
  • Perform business process analysis and own the design and improvement of new and existing tools and processes to support business decisions for the SIOP Channel business.
  • Drive continuous improvement of business SIOP to deliver on-going improvements to maturity and results.
  • Develop and maintains global SIOP scorecards and metrics.
  • Aids in facilitation/coordination of global product allocations.
  • Supporting and leading strategic inventory management initiatives and stocking strategies.
  • Manage and improve processes to track the value realized or risk mitigated as an output of the SIOP process.
  • Effectively resolve roadblocks to collection of complete and accurate data and adoption of tools.
  • Using data analysis methods, develop recommendations to leadership for improvements in reporting, KPI's and risk management.
  • Develop and maintain standards, policies, and procedures surrounding data collection, analysis and reporting.
  • Provide regular updates to leadership highlighting performance issues and proposing solutions.
  • Support ad-hoc requests as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, mathematics, business or finance.

Preferred: APICS CSCP or CPIM or other supply chain certification

Preferred Qualifications:
  • PDCA mindset with attention to detail.
  • Minimum of 3 - 5 years of analytical experience performing detailed analyses.
  • Excellent analytical skills and experience with analytical tools - MS Excel, Power BI/Tableau, Advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and BI solutions.
  • Demonstrated capability to execute through challenges.
  • Previous experience with SAP or Oracle a plus.
  • Previous experience in Demand and Supply Planning applications. Implementation experience a plus.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, Smartsheet, and other business applications
  • Excellent communications skills - written & verbal
