Position Summary

  • The Senior Manager of Business Development will be responsible for recruiting new owners into Aqua-Aston Hospitality's proprietary Rental Program. This will include contacting individual condominium owners and following up to provide information and draw interest in joining the Rental Program.
  • Additionally, this individual will work with the property Owner Liaison to assist with securing units that have been sold that were previously in our Rental Program.
  • Work closely with the Regional VP of Operations, and Corporate Sales, Marketing and Communications as needed, to design and create solicitation materials and determine promotional strategies for the purpose of recruitment to potential owners and licensed realtors.
  • Work with Real Estate professionals and Association Management Teams on gathering information that can be used to create a database of contacts of potential customers. Will network and meet with clients, industry professionals, and potential new owners.
  • At the property level, will work directly with General Managers and Owner Service Representatives for property familiarization, and to be apprised of and attend scheduled Owner Events.

Job Responsibilities and Expected Contributions
  • Identify, solicit, and recruit property owners to the Aqua-Aston rental program.
  • Cold-call real estate businesses and promote our realtor incentives as well as our rental program benefits.
  • Build relationships with realtors in the market to refer customers to Aqua-Aston.
  • Work with marketing and General Managers to create solicitations that can be mailed out to potential customers. Obtain mailing lists for potential owners in a particular condo.
  • Maintain current client relationships and identify areas for potential new clients.
  • Research the latest in the business industry and create new opportunities to expand.
  • Strong understanding of Aqua-Aston Hospitality services as well as our business position and competition to keep us competitive in the market.
  • Bi-monthly meetings with the RVP of Operations to discuss recruitment strategies and upcoming business needs.
  • Attend owner parties to make contacts and capture new owners into the Aqua-Aston program.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Candidate Profile

Education
  • 4 year college degree.

Certifications / Accreditations
  • Driver's License required.
  • Real Estate License preferred.

Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a hospitality setting or Vacation rental management and sales experience preferred.

Skills/Attributes
  • Good communication and listening skills.
  • Proficient writing skills with an attention to detail.
  • Able to create and deliver professional presentations in a variety of formats to groups and individuals.
  • Keen sense of professionalism and able to establish rapport with owners, potential owners, industry professionals, business partners and staff.
  • Handles confidential information for the company and for our owners with responsibility, sensitivity and care.

  • Authority to hire or fire other employees or make suggestions and recommendations as to the hiring, firing, advancement, promotion or any other change of status of other employees.
