Position Overview

The Novelis HR Operations team is seeking a Sr. HR Analyst, Knowledge Management. This is an exciting opportunity to influence the future of how employees, managers, and HR partners at Novelis interact with the HR Services team. The person in this role will report to the Director of HR Operations. In this role, the incumbent will produce and maintain HR process, policy, and procedure documentation and information in support of the Human Resources department and the Company. This includes collecting existing assets, organizing and synthesizing them, and establishing ongoing governance and maintenance of knowledge assets for the benefit of Employees, Managers, HRBPs, HR COEs, and HR Operations. The incumbent is also responsible for generating original information and knowledge assets. This is a fundamental role required for supporting the Employee experience by enabling Employees to quickly locate, access, and easily understand information via 24/7 on-demand portal. Critical analysis, systematic thinking, organization, and technical writing skills are essential for this role as is an entrepreneurial spirit.
Responsibilities & Qualifications

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and implement a short and long-term plan of governance for HR knowledge and information asset development, governance, and maintenance.
  • Establish and enforce styles and standards for HR knowledge and information to ensure consistency and clarity in content.
  • Identify, collect, and synthesize information assets from disparate sources and incorporate them into the department's knowledge base.
  • Establish and leverage styles and standards to ensure consistency and clarity in content.
  • Leverage HR technology to document, store, and deploy knowledge content to HR, Managers, and Employees ensuring accuracy and relevancy for targeted audiences.
  • Define training plans for new HR Generalist, HR Operations, and HR COE populations.
  • Design, implement, and oversee the administration of content management systems to organize and store department-owned information assets.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Direct experience integrating knowledge with portals/intranets and databases.
  • Experience designing and implementing functional knowledge bases.
  • Ability to define information organization systems and schemes.
  • Experience defining and enforcing writing styles and standards.
  • Excellent customer service orientation and knowledge of applicable best practices, policies, and procedures.
  • Prior experience with content-database integration and a range of database platforms.
  • Previous experience with ServiceNow knowledge management modules.
  • Strong knowledge of cataloging and archiving techniques.
  • Superior quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Advanced degree in Information Science, Library Science,
  • Working experience and expertise in knowledge management industry practices and trends.
  • Experience with ServiceNow Employee Center.
  • Advanced content management experience, including indexing and creating taxonomy structures
  • Ability to translate complex information into easy to understand and user-friendly language
