Responsibilities

How Will You Contribute to the Company?

Cradlepoint is actively seeking an Sr. ERP Engineer to join their world-class Business Applications team. The successful candidate will use their considerable technical and functional expertise to make important decisions which will affect the quality and the timely completion of both large and small projects within the Government Cloud environment. Along with the other members of the team, their contributions will make a lasting, positive impact across Cradlepoint's Sales, Marketing, Support and Operations efforts.

The ERP Engineer will be the primary resource responsible for setting up the company's D365 Government Cloud environment; this includes working with internal ERP team on system configuration, enhancing code objects, security, creation of reports and dashboards,end-usertraining, integrations, ensuring data hygiene and integrity. The ERP Engineer will provide techno functional leadership in driving and executing the ERP Government cloud environment setup. The successful candidate will work both independently and with the team to ensure that the full features and benefits of the application are being properly utilized, based on the various user group needs. The ERP Engineer will work cross-functionally with all departments, helping to manage Stakeholder requirements and expectations, ensuring the Business Applications team and the Company's success.

What Will You Do?

  • Partner with business stakeholders to setup and maintain the D365 Government Cloud
  • Build and develop application tables/panels/reports, and code individual modules and complex functions for the Government instance of the D 365 application
  • Integrate software, develop external interfaces, and maintain technical documentation
  • Ensure D365 government cloud best practices are adhered to during the implementation. Provide technical feasibility and appropriateness of proposed resolutions
  • Troubleshoot software, system problems that involve ERP modules, and resolve testing issues
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Services, Customer Success, Product, and IT team members to gather functional requirements and scope projects
  • Contribute knowledge to advance innovative technical solutions by constantly evaluating and recommending improvements for the stability and capability enhancements of ERP system
  • Ensure the accuracy of information entered in the system and test new features of the system as they are implemented to verify accuracy of ERP procedures
  • Manage projects / processes, working independently with limited supervision
  • Coach and review the work of team members, both internal and external
  • Follow established internal standards for Development, Information Security, and QA
  • Responsible for critical and major incident management, escalation handling, coordination with functional teams, other technical teams, and business stakeholders
  • Propose improvement and valued guidance on IT solutions towards innovation for business needs
  • Feasibility study of business requirements and preparing technical documents (Functional Specification, Test case scenarios, Technical Specification, Risk, Deployment guide) for operational procedures and application user manual for end user documentation
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
  • BA/BS or equivalent relevant experience plus at least eight (8+) years of related experience
  • Six (6+) years of ERP development experience
  • Four (4+) years of ERP functional experience in Finance, HR, Supply chain and Operations
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 at a techno functional level, ideally at a Services industry
  • Knowledge in OTC, P2P and FI processes
  • Self-starter and be able to work both independently and in a team setting
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills, with an ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms and in English
  • ITIL knowledge and knowledge of best practices for managing changes to production business application systems
  • Understanding of relational database concepts (e.g., logical schemas, physical table structures, data attributes, primary and foreign keys, query languages, security, control, backup, and disaster recovery)
  • Experience in various ERP modules and business process familiarity along with ability to independently customizing, integrating, maintaining and supporting various tools and accelerators for D365
  • Commitment to excellence, ensuring the accuracy of data through analysis and abstract reasoning
  • Self-motivated and able to work with the team
  • Good familiarity with Agile development methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira)
  • Excellent personal and project organization skills, ability to work cross-functionally with members in all departments

Bonus Points:
  • Experience developing custom features in X++, C/AL, AL, and/or XML
  • Experience working in and supporting users in Government Cloud, Sales Cloud and Service Cloud environments
  • Dynamics 365 Microsoft Certification

Your Pay:

The salary range for this position is listed below. The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate's combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.

  • $108,850 - $210,450
Your pay also includes the opportunity for an annual bonus. This variable pay opportunity is dependent upon the attainment of agreed to goals and objectives as determined by Cradlepoint's Senior Leadership team. Certain eligibility and pro-ration rules apply.
