Job Description:

Qualifications, locations and experience of the individual ultimately selected for the position may impact the final actual offered compensation, which may vary from any posted range based off experience and location.

We are seeking a senior engineer to help us build and support the services that thousands of Property Restoration and Insurance P&C professionals rely on every day to restore people's lives by repairing damaged homes and buildings. You will work closely with members of our Technology teams as an advocate for production-ready software. You will deliver resilient and performant infrastructure in support of our revenue generating products and services. You'll develop tooling, monitoring, and processes to make our products highly available, performant, and reliable. You can expect to write automation, build custom monitoring and alerting, and support incident resolution and effective problem closure. We encourage flexible working hours and support telecommuting. You will participate in an on-call rotation for incident escalation.

• You have experience in translating business use cases into technical requirements and implement solutions to meet those requirements.
• You have experience driving technical projects, prioritizing work, identifying dependencies, and facilitating technical decisions and cross-functional team discussions.
• You build deep relationships with cross-function technical individuals within the organization with the goal of increasing public cloud competency levels.
• You understand High Availability and Disaster Recovery capabilities of applications and its components in general.
• You've developed an intuition for acceptable performance and reliability benchmarks, and have experience transforming metrics and raw data into dashboards and actionable alerts using tools
• You're comfortable troubleshooting production incidents and debugging across interconnected systems and at multiple layers (including network, command line, and application).
• You embrace and demonstrate Ownership. Respect, Engagement and Clients First approach.

Job Qualifications:

• Must have at least 7 Years of progressive experience in similar field.
• Bachelor's degree preferred and/or equivalent experience with High School Diplo
• Significant experience with Azure and AWS public cloud.
• Significant Technical Infrastructure and Operations experience with strong understanding of Azure and AWS networking technologies.
• Windows system stack administration (Windows, IIS, AD, DNS, Azure AD).
• Experience with systems, network, and application security is a plus.
• Production support experience /w Multi-tier SaaS application env in public cloud
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey cloud technologies and concepts to technical and non-technical audiences is important.
• Collaboration and the integration of multiple viewpoints is key.

Additional Preferred Skills:

• Solid understanding of highly scalable, fault tolerant, distributed computing architectures is a plus.
• General infrastructure automation using PowerShell or Python and experience with provisioning tools like Ansible / Terraform is a plus.
• Experience with Nagios / Grafana / Cloudwatch / OpsGenie / NewRelic is a plus.

Annual Pay Range:
97,200 - 135,000 USD
