This position is responsible for directing the FSP chemistry labs procedures, projects and equipment. Provide management and direction to both laboratory's quality systems to meet requirements of internal and external quality systems. This is a part-time temporary role working approximately 15 hours per week.

Responsibilities include:
• direct the operations of the two chemistry labs to ensure reliability, precision, accuracy and timeliness of test results provided.
• control and maintain the laboratories quality systems to meet and satisfy requirements of internal and external (eg ISO16949, ISO9001, ISO17025) systems.
• utilizes chemical technical background and expertise to manage processes or equipment with the potential to provide one or more of the following: more accurate results; additional analytical services; more timely results; improved productivity; reduced costs.

Minimum requirements: Bachelor's degree in Chemistry with at least 10 years working as a chemist in a TimkenSteel lab.
