This position is to be the Principal IT Integration Systems Analyst within the US Commercial IT organization focusing on Sales Enablement.   This position will be working to support our America’s Sales and Commercial Operations teams focused on data interoperability, system interface design, strategic integration roadmaps and tactical execution of new/updated system integrations.   

This position will work on strategic projects that will enhance existing processes/technologies as well as work on new efforts that align with digital strategic imperatives.   This position will primarily be focused on Salesforce.com (SFDC) data and its linked systems such as cVent, Eloqua, SAP, and other commercial tools.   This customer relationship management (CRM) system is used for several key areas such as account/contact management, activity planning, sales planning/forecasting, data integration/reporting/analytics, campaign management and medical education.  Key integration tools include Informatica and MuleSoft.  

A DAY IN THE LIFE
•    Develop a detailed understanding of the SFDC data architecture, as well as integrated applications.  
•    Serves as a system design liaison for break / fix and functional enhancements to integrations across multiple SFDC instances and it’s partnering systems.
•    Facilitate interviews to gather formal business requirements, document current process, and design future state.
•    Translate and document user requirement(s) into Functional Specifications or ‘How It can be done’ in tools being used.
•    Design, propose and document Enterprise Change Requests (ECR’s) for updated and new data integrations.
•    Defines, documents and coordinates integration testing requirements.
•    Advises business team members on business process options.
•    Analyzes complex issues and presents in easy to read process/data flows.
•    Works closely with partner IT groups to significantly improve existing IT processes to get work done; including building out new engagement and execution models.  
•    Documents and trains others on IT solutions and data designs. 
•    Work with team members across process areas (Sales, Commercial Operations, BI, Analytics, Finance, Marketing).
•    Collaborate with regional and global team to share best practices and avoid redundant effort.
•    Analyze and help resolve system issues; recommend/implement timely solutions.
•    Develop strong business acumen, including an understanding of products, markets, competitors, customers, and business processes.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

MUST HAVE (Minimum Qualifications)
•    Bachelor’s degree

PRINCIPAL LEVEL:
•    7+ years of experience with a bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of experience with an advanced degree 

OTHER EXPERIENCE:
•    3+ years of experience of documenting and designing system interface designs
•    3+ years of database experience with SQL and Oracle
•    1+ year of system interface, functional and regression testing
•    1+ year of Salesforce.com platform administration
•    1+ year of experience working on data quality efforts to cleans, enhance/enrich and maintain high levels of data quality

DESIRED/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
NICE TO HAVE (Preferred Qualifications)
•    3+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst and/or systems consultant including the development of business requirements and test plan documents
•    Solid understanding of system design and development lifecycles
•    Experience with test script development to satisfy functional testing, acceptance testing and end to end testing
•    Experience with SF mobile configuration, Lightning, Apex programming, Visualforce pages, and Data Loader
•    Experience with Salesforce to ERP integrations such as SAP or Oracle
•    Preference given for additional Salesforce certifications  such as Advanced Administrator, Platform Architect, or Sales Cloud Consultant 
•    Strong organizational skills and experience, and the ability to participate in cross-functional teams
•    Ability to identify areas for process improvement and recommend/implement solutions; experience with process map development
•    Understanding of databases and how to extract/analyze data 
•    Proven creativity and problem-solving skills; ability to work around obstacles and solve problems with minimal direction
•    Strong organizational/time management skills; ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
•    Highly effective written and verbal communication skills 
•    Flexible with a demonstrated ability to embrace change
•    Previous work experience within the Life Sciences sector preferred
•    Experience doing data analysis on commercial sales and finance data from multiple sources
•    Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical topics to business management and users
•    Experienced with visualization tools such as Tableau and Business Objects
