Your role:
We are currently seeking an experienced Analytical Chemist at our facility in Tamaqua (Hometown), Pennsylvania. In this role you will develop, transfer, and support the analytical methods for gases sold into the Electronics industry. A significant portion of the role will be hands-on analytical and project work. The position will be based at the company's facility in the Hometown, PA, but they will also provide support globally. Regular communications will be held globally with analytical teams, operations management, engineering, business areas, and customers.Occasional travel may occur.

  • New product development support
  • Develop and transfer analytical methods into production facilities
  • Address issues and questions from production laboratories, operations, quality, and business area
  • Work closely with R&D, vendors, and other experts inside and outside of the company

Who You Are:

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree in Chemistry or other Scientific discipline AND 3+ years of analytical experience
OR
  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or other Scientific discipline AND 10+ years of analytical experience

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with GC, GC-MS, MS, FTIR and gas-phase moisture analyzers
  • Experience in analytical methods development
  • Strong fundamentals and practical experience in the use of statistics
  • Great interpersonal skills
  • Initiative and self-motivation
  • Good organizational skills and strong verbal and written communications
  • Capable of carrying out team and self-directed projects
