Wayne State College is seeking a Special Education faculty member who is interested in working at an institution that prides itself on its teacher education history. This position is an On-Campus position.

Require Qualifications:

Education:
Master's Degree in special education is required.

Experience:
Five years teaching experience as a special education teacher in a P-12 environment; experience in effectively using technology to facilitate student learning and to expand student access to knowledge and educational experiences.

Preferred Qualifications:

Earned doctorate with an emphasis in special education is preferred. Candidates who are ABD are encouraged to apply. Successful teaching experience in an institute of higher education; online teaching; proof of scholarship; leadership experience in a P-12 setting; experience with PBIS and MTSS, willingness to work collaboratively to help improve the lives of children, families, and communities.
